Greenbelt, MD, February 16, 2016 – Arctic Slop Technical Services (ASTS) was awarded the Software Engineering Support (SES) II contract by the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) to provide software engineering and information technology support services. ASTS will support the Software Engineering Division (SED) by providing software engineering and information systems technical services, including on-orbit operations through the decommissioning of NASA programs and projects. The single-award, cost-plus-fixed fee, $273 million contract has a potential five-year period of performance and starts April 1, 2016. Teammates supporting ASTS include Emergent Space Technologies Inc., Orbital ATK, Telophase, the Hammers Company, and SSAI. Emergent will provide NASA GSFC’s Code 580 with software engineering support in ground systems engineering, components and applications.
