Emergent Space Technologies, Inc. Signs Space Act
Agreement with NASA Goddard Space Flight Center
Emergent Space Technologies, Inc. signed a Space Act Agreement with
NASA to use Goddard Space Flight Center's GPS test facility for
commercial testing activities. The agreement allows Emergent to use
GSFC's state-of-the-art GPS signal generator on a cost-recoverable,
non-interference basis to perform GPS space receiver testing for
commercial customers. Additional value-added services include receiver
algorithm development and analysis; pre-flight receiver acceptance
testing; and post-flight operational support. Full hardware-in-the-loop
simulations of GPS-based orbit and attitude determination can also be
performed.
