Emergent was founded in 2001 by Dr. George Davis (still current President & Founder) to bring modern information technology to the aerospace industry, and to have fun while doing it.
Emergent is always looking for bright, energetic and enterprising individuals to join our dynamic team of engineers, scientists, and technologists. Emergent employs highly skilled, educated, and proven successful staff of employees and contractors to provide federal contract engineering and consulting services to the civil, commercial, and military space industry around our core competencies of spacecraft guidance, navigation and control, satellite ground systems, and space mission automation.
Emergent is a small business of 60+ employees who are geographically distributed throughout the United States near major aerospace industry locations, especially Greenbelt, Maryland (company HQ), Houston and Austin, Texas, Denver and Colorado Springs, Colorado, Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Mountain View, California.
